EARTH University is a nonprofit, private, international university established with the support of various parties - the Costa Rican government, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Inaugurating our first class in 1990 with 60 students, we have since then used innovative educational approach to prepare young people from around the world. We develop them into individuals who foster sustainable development in their home country and who help create a just and prosperous society. We make this possible through four-year undergraduate programs, short-term international programs, and postgraduate studies in the areas of natural resources management and agricultural sciences.
