After months of anticipation, the WWE 2K24 release date has finally been revealed as the road to forty years of WrestleMania begins. However, fans who are extra eager to dive in will still have a chance to do that this year.
WWE 2K24 early access will be available for specific editions of the game, though they've changed a bit of the wording on this. We've got details below on the WWE 2K24 release date for every edition of the latest installment in this storied franchise.

WWE 2K24 Release Date
For the standard edition, the WWE 2K24 release date is Friday, March 8, 2024. This aligns closely with the release date we've seen in recent years, but 2K Sports and WWE Games did push things a hair earlier this time.
The WWE 2K23 release date was March 17, 2023, and before that the franchise revival with WWE 2K22 arrived on March 11, 2022. With WrestleMania 40 coming up on April 6 and 7, this will allow players a full month of enjoying the 2K Showcase of WrestleMania moments before WWE's biggest event of 2024 arrives.
On top of that, those who purchase any edition of WWE 2K24 will get one month of Peacock. New subscribers can't go wrong checking out WrestleMania 40 on Peacock, but they'll have to make sure to cancel before the free month expires to avoid being charged.
How to Get WWE 2K24 Early Access
While they're not calling it early access this year, WWE 2K24 includes the same alternate release date for non-standard editions that we saw with the last few releases. The WWE 2K24 release date for the Deluxe Edition and Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition is Tuesday, March 5, 2024, and they'll include special WWE 2K24 cover stars as well.
Players who grab either of those editions instead of the Standard Edition will get to play WWE 2K24 three days before the rest of the world. While technically not tied to a pre order in the same way they did last year, we do recommend pre ordering so you can download the game ahead of time and be able to play the moment it goes live.
